'101.9 RXP Yule Rock Presents My Chemical Romance'

Singer Gerard Way is still shouting about firefights, detonating the mosh pit, and assuring his disciples that the world gets better when you can take something from it. Anger, release, solace, whatever--just never retreat. With Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, My Chemical Romance have emerged on the far side of the emo-tallic construct that once defined them; they carve dance floors at the summit of mountains made of cultural trash, light them up with flamethrowers, and chant brainy gibberish until the old folks leave. Because even if the band's fan base has aged, this is still music designed for the young.
