'Abandon Ship Showcase'
Abandon Ship, the prolific noise/ambient/experimental labelwith a complementary 'zine, Balladry, to bootwill hold their seventh showcase for bands that may or may not actually have CD-Rs, cassettes, three-inch discs, singles, or LPs on Abandon Ship. And, as usual with their showcases, it should be a reliable evening of cosmic stoner drones, whether or not one has heard of any of the bands. This time: metallic clouds (Hells Hills), collaged guitar noize (Yellow Crystal Star), primal hippie scream (Amir Coyle), big drifts (Child Bride), and bigger damaged synths (Boyszone).
