Acid Mothers Temple
This Japanese psychedelic troupe is headed for The Guinness Book of Records for either A) the most albums released (approximately 70 since 1996) or B) the most pun-filled album titles ever (Starless and Bible Black Sabbath or Born to Be Wild in the USA 2000, anyone?). In either case, they'll provide a more mind-blowing experience than jam-band godheads the Dead or the Allman Bros can muster nowadays. As with noise mavens My Bloody Valentine, you'll need earplugs for your earplugs and, if you're close to the stage, be careful you don't get tangled in the miles of hair sprouting from the guitarists. With Sonic Suicide Squad and Floating Action.
