Last year, the inaugural 4Knots Music Festival brought Titus Andronicus, the Black Angels, Eleanor Friedberger, Mr. Dream, and hundreds of screaming, moshing, crowd-surfing rock fans to the South Street Seaport for a free afternoon of music and good times. Building on that success, the Voice (yes, full disclosure, this is our festival) returns to the pier with Archers of Loaf, the Drums, Crocodiles, Hospitality, Bleached, Nick Waterhouse, Delicate Steve, Team Spirit, Devin, and Doldrums all in tow, providing a lineup that will bring all of those rock fans—and surely a few new ones—back across the river. Don’t want the fun to stop? Then walk over to the Beekman Beer Garden for an after-party that includes the Black Lips, Kid Congo Powers, Jonathan Toubin, and one of the best views of the Brooklyn Bridge you’ll ever lay eyes on.
