ALL THAT JAZZ
Broads, rock that bob, and gents, latch the suspenders—it’s time again for the seventh annual Jazz Age Lawn Party. Michael Arenella & His Dreamland Orchestra host and headline this decadent explosion of all things old-timey. We’re talking phonographs, flappers, serious picnicking, bathing suits that actually resemble suits, and cocktails of the no-bullshit variety. The orchestra and guests provide jazz throughout the day, with professional swing dancing and Charleston lessons. Old-fashioned eats will be for sale, alongside a variety of vintage-clothing vendors. Other delightful diversions include motorcar rides, portraits, tug-of-war, the “Bathing Beauties and Beaus Promenade,” and a pie-recipe contest. It should be a roaring good time.
