ALL THE RAGE
When Fight Club, based on Chuck Palahniuks novel, hit theaters over a decade ago, Rex Reed of The New York Observer derided it as a film without a single redeeming quality, which may have to find its audience in hell. Though the film bombed at the box office, the author did not need to go so far as hell to find a loyal cult following, one that turns out in droves any time the transgressive writer has a new book (he has now published 10 novels since 1996s Fight Club). Tonight should be no exception as Palahniuk makes his only New York City appearance for Tell-All, which explores the salacious underbelly of Old Hollywood as were sure only Palahniuk can. Broadway actress Julie Halston performs selections.
