In 1985, the year Alternative Press, the Cleveland-based music magazine debuted, it was merely a black-and-white zine and the headline was "Smiths start 1st U.S. tour, but Clevlo not on list." Celebrating all the famous musicians who have graced its pages since those humble beginnings, Alternative Press's 25th Anniversary Art Show features work submitted by many of the magazine's cover stars. Artists include Marilyn Manson, Tim Armstrong (Rancid), Matt Skiba (Alkaline Trio), Pete Wentz (Fall Out Boy), Black Francis (Pixies), Adam Jones (Tool), and Shirley Manson (Garbage).
