Dir. Federico Fellini (1974). Fellini's occasionally hilarious and often poignant nostalgia trip to his seaside home town during the Fascist Italy of the 1930s is overlong and is marred by a few really dreadful gags, but his dreamlike vision of the past is often visually stunning.
