On the same day Anthrax released Worship Music, their first album in eight years, the thrash-metal heavyweights brought the noise to the Best Buy Theater. It was a cathartic experience, and they played with the sort of frenzy most bands would reserve for a giant gig at Yankee Stadium (where they played the next day alongside Metallica, Slayer, and Megadeth). Tonight, they return with a new cast of thrash cohorts (Testament and Death Angel). Let’s hope they haven’t lost that new-record smell.
