If you were too young to get your hands on the incredible outpouring of riot grrrl zines in the early 90s—with their personal essays, manifestos, and feminist critiques of the punk scene—nows your chance to stock up at this years NY Art Book Fair, which features a collection of more than a thousand zines available for reading and photocopying as part of the fairs exhibition titled You Are Her. Aside from the countless book vendors, the fair also includes a curated conversation series called The Classroom, which has artist-led events, talks with artists, readings, and workshops. The three-day event also has live music, a zine meet-trade-meet-up and exhibitions.
