Baaz may not be a big-name DJ, but the guy has taste. Originally drawn to dance music by the good-time groove of Daft Punk, he then fell in love with the avant-soul abstraction of Moodymann and Theo Parrish. Expect deep house with just a touch of the minimalism that dominates his native Germanyand figure that this Clinton Hill/Bed Stuy club is remote enough to guarantee a no-bullshit crowd.
