Beware the Red Death
Edgar Allan Poe wrote, Red Death had long devastated the country. No pestilence had ever been so fatal, or so hideous. So should we fear now that California collective Zombie Joes is bringing Red Death to New Yorkers? Likely not. This production, which offers stage adaptations of Poes The Masque of Red Death, The Bells, and The Tell-Tale Heart, received strong reviews during its L.A. run.
Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Sundays, 7 p.m. Starts: Aug. 27. Continues through Sept. 28, 2008
