Dir. Jim Abrahams (1988). In this shrill, unappealing screwball comedy of errors, Bette Midler and Lili Tomlin play two sets of twins separated at birth. The screenplay is lamebrain. Midler comes off best, tossing off one-liners with malevolence. Tomlin is ill-matched with her as a vague, well-meaning character.
