This adventurous soul singer has been doing time with Robert Glasper in support of the latter’s deeply groove-conscious Black Radio. But Bilal’s plenty conscious of groove all by himself; his underappreciated 2010 album, Airtight’s Revenge, is a modest little marvel of space-station funk. He’ll be joined at this Lyricist Lounge gig by the Bronx’s Camp Lo.
