Bird in the Hand
The song of the flamingo isn’t particularly elegant—a swift and screechy caw. Nevertheless, playwright Jorge Ignacio Cortiñas has decided on a chorus of flamingoes for his new dance-theater piece, which centers on a man who runs a tropical aviary and features a cast including Crystal Finn and Debargo Sanyal.
Wednesdays-Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Sundays, 7 p.m. Starts: Aug. 29. Continues through Sept. 23, 2012
