Blonde Redhead+Pantha Du Prince
New York art-rock institution Blonde Redhead have fallen head-over-leather-boots down a murky wormhole of sultry dreamgoth, faux-Knife Scandinavian electro, and all kinds of dubby bum-out. Accordingly, new album Penny Sparkle vacillates between gorgeous thrills and flabby dullsville. Luckily, dark ambient micro-mutator Pantha Du Prince is opening, and he's currently batting 1.000 with the ol' haunted house of crowd-rock.
