'Bomba Presents Chancha Via Circuito'
Pedro Canale's recording name, Chancha Via Circuito, is a cryptic tribute to his late-night rail commute between ZZK's Zizek club nights and his suburban home outside Buenos Aires. Fittingly, the digital cumbia he presents on his hard-to-find but much-lauded debut album, Rio Arriba, is a gentle and dreamy journey. With local global bass promoter/DJ trio the Cumba Mela Collective (Thornato, Atropolis and 2Melo) plus El G, Zakee, and Navegante.
