As Cajmere, Curtis Jones released Chicago house singles that were as influential as they were irresistible: Where “Brighter Days” placed soulful vocals from local singer Dajae within a bouncy groove, “Percolator” still sounds as raw as ever, its crisp drums and bubbling synths no less effective 20 years later. Tonight, those drums and synths work their magic at Williamsburg’s new Output nightclub, where a state-of-the-art Funktion-One soundsystem has spent the spring booming remarkable sets of everything from disco to moombahton.
