If you get stuck in a subway car lined with ads for Nurse Jackie—Edie Falcos stern face staring you down on the way to your destination—look on the bright side: At least you didnt get those graphic ads about bedbugs or, worse yet, dermatologist Dr. Zizmor. Evidenced by her unnerving visage, Falcos Jackie is a no-nonsense dame (as her roles tend to go). In Chloe Mosss This Wide Night, directed by Anne Kaufman, Falco portrays an ex-con trying to make a go of it on the outside with her former cellmate (Alison Pill). The play was originally developed by Londons Clean Break theater company in collaboration with women affected by the criminal justice system, some of whom may agree with another age-old subway ad (and a word of advice for Nurse Jackie): Say No to Drugs.
Saturdays, Sundays, 2 p.m.; Tuesdays-Saturdays, 7:30 p.m.; Sundays, 7 p.m. Starts: May 8. Continues through June 20, 2010
