The Marvelous One has never enjoyed the runaway success of the artists hes produced (Avril Lavigne, Fall Out Boy, even Lindsay Lohan), but hes always managed to save some of the best songs for himself. His last disc, Sycamore Meadows, bounced between Tom Petty-like rock for rocks sake, syrupy Jakob Dylan pop, and lush, Rufus Wainwright-worthy ballads (not to mention a Pink cameo). Then again, the beauty of Walkers musicand not that of his tributarieshas always been that he doesnt have to be just one thing. With the Films.
