Stone at the Stone definitely has a ring to it. The Tokyo-based, Morton Subotnick-educated laptop samurai digests street sounds, musical samples, and brain-twisting loop-the-loops with digital aplomb. In addition to some local premieres, he'll perform "Sonamu" (titled, in signature Stone style, after a favorite Korean restaurant) with pianist Sarah Cahill, who commissioned it for her "Sweeter Music" series.
