An exceptionally beautiful neo-realist drama, shot by Chilean director Rolando Klein in the Mayan language, among the indigenous people of Chiapas, Mexico, Chac is a sort of naturalized equivalent to the other mystical Chilean-Mexican cult film of the early ‘70s, El Topo.
