'Cheyenne Jackson's Cocktail Hour'
Tonight, the recent groom sings songs from the Mad Men era of Manhattan’s past, a time when expressing any sort of same-sex interest could mean the pink slip. Still, the B’way leading man whose voice is as smooth as any scotch and soda poured on the show likely won’t be stressing the repressed aspects of ‘60s society, and that might be the reason why they’re calling the suavely nostalgic event “Cheyenne Jackson’s Cocktail Hour.” Under Steven Reineke’s musical direction, he’ll recalls the bossa nova and other fancies of the passing and adhering variety.
