Start scavenging the streets for unwanted kiddie bikes—the second annual NYC Great Big Wheel Race, hosted by Fluff's Events, is upon us. Bring your big wheel, tricycle, skateboard, or basically any homemade contraption on wheels (the only rule: Your seat must, at its lowest point, be lower than 12 inches) to Central Park, and then get ready to race down the winding path of the Great Hill. Everyone is encouraged to come dressed as a superhero, and you can interpret that however you'd like (obviously, the more offbeat, the better). Prizes will be awarded for the most original vehicle, costume, and fourth-place finisher.
