Chromatics may play synth-pop, but they always make sure to place their own expressionist stamp on it, whether focusing on darker tones or releasing an entire version of one of their albums completely without drums, as they did with this year's Kill for Love. In a live setting, though, the band manages an unusual balance between playing a concert and hosting a dance floor, as frontwoman Ruth Radelet stoically assumes center stage while everything around her spins out of control. It makes for a unique chaos. With DJs JDH and Dave P, plus Paul Raffaele.
