Dir. Eric Rohmer (1970). This fifth of Rohmer's "moral tales" stars Jean-Claude Brialy as a French diplomat who feels with his head, not his heart. On a holiday, he channels his desire for a summery teenage girl into a controllable passion. It's a witty and personal film, but basically a classy talkfest.
Fridays-Sundays, 11 a.m. Starts: Sept. 25. Continues through Sept. 27, 2009
