Coheed & Cambria
King Crimson guitarist Adrian Belew may be on the bill, too, but headliners Coheed and Cambria actually do best when they dispense with the prog-rock trappings. Their last two albums have moved in a more simplistic direction, at least once you dig beneath the five-song conceptual cycles and misleading album titles such as Good Apollo I'm Burning Star IV, Volume Two: No World For Tomorrow. Their current sound is substantially better than their prog-wannabe early-00s material, if perhaps more Thrice or My Chemical Romance than Opeth or Yes. With Adrian Belew Power Trio.
