COPS AS ROBBERS

Martin Scorsese didn’t invent the double-undercover-double-cross for The Departed; he imported it from Alan Mak and Andrew Lau’s Infernal Affairs, which celebrates its 10th anniversary tonight with star Edison Chen and other guests at the New York Asian Film Festival, followed by a screening of its game-changing prequel, Infernal Affairs II. The NYAFF’s selections—often visually stunning and inventively kinetic—screen at the Walter Reade Theater at Lincoln Center through July 12 (Donnie Yen guests at Sunday’s Kill Zone screening); the festival then continues at the Japan Society (333 East 47th Street, 212-715-1258) through July 15.
Fri., July 6, 6 p.m.; Mondays-Sundays, noon. Starts: July 6. Continues through July 16, 2012
