In the United States, primarily to headline the opening night of Seattle's Decibel Festival, U.K. post-dubstep dude Zomby hits Brooklyn on his way back home (or wherever) for his first New York gig since playing an invite-only party at Angel Orensanz in July. Expect a bewitching blend of polish and murk: This year's Dedication, Zomby's debut for 4AD, positions the producer at the grimier end of the dystopian future-soul spectrum also inhabited by the xx and SBTRKT, with whom Zomby shares an enigma-building predilection for the onstage mask. Last time it was Guy Fawkes; this time maybe Lana Del Rey?
