Cracked Ice, Or Jewels of the Forbidden Skates
As the founder of Circus Amok, NYCs subversive traveling troupe, Jennifer Miller is a fixture in the downtown theater world as a gender-bending, politically outspoken juggler. Now, the famed bearded lady and Ethyl Eichelberger award recipient is channeling her talents into a full-length production at P.S.122. In Cracked Ice, Or Jewels of the Forbidden Skates, a pair of Millers Circus friends, the Liberty Sisters, appear as vengeful jugglers out for justice against an evil Ponzi schemer. (Deb Margolin wrote the text for the Madoff-esque character.) Kenny Mellman provides the tunes to accompany the hilarity.
