'Dark Disco Presents Nosaj Thing+Mary Anne Hobbs+Dirty South Joe'
Mary Anne Hobbs may have done more than anyone to popularize dubstep and its increasingly divergent offshoots. She's long championed Britain's experimental bass musics on her BBC show, and in a Planet Mu CD series. Among the acts she got behind is Nosaj Thing: part of a Los Angeles wave including Flying Lotus and Daedelus, Nosaj Thing displays an equal love of West Coast hip-hop and of UK IDM. With Philly/DC Mad Decent associate Dirty South Joe.
