Remember feelings? On his new tour, commemorating the 10-year anniversary of Dashboard Confessional’s breakthrough album The Swiss Army Romance, Chris Carrabba will put Irving Plaza through the emotional ringer. Performing the album in its entirety on an acoustic guitar, Carrabba returns to the hand wringing, unplugged rock that made hoodies into Kleenexes and Livejournals into epistolary fiction. Using an arch minimalist approach, tracks like “Screaming Infidelities” and “Living In Your Letters” are raw revisits on an old theme, the solo artist trying to remain intact.
