'Dharma in the Dance Hall'
Born in Algeria, raised in Paris, matured in San Francisco, Cheb I Sabbah was one of the first to bring world music into western DJ culture. He draws on Asian, African and Middle Eastern music traditions--as well as the live contributions of a collection of classical and traditional musicians from India, Pakistan, and across Africa to create the transformative electronica that's become his trademark. With Ekayani, the Tom Glide Space, and Brendan Moeller (Beat Pharmacy).
