Since their last visit to New York, a trip that saw them opening for the Faint at Webster Hall on back-to-back nights, Liverpudlian coed quartet Ladytron has released two records that could provide the building blocks for a fantastic set. First, the band compiled 17 of the best tracks from its 12 years into a much-deserved greatest hits album, then followed up with a more ethereal new release, last months Gravity the Seducer. That new one might be a tad uneven, but its high points (were partial to White Elephant and Ace of Hz) are still strong enough to slot alongside the bands past work. With VHS or Beta and Sonoio.
