Much has changed in the downtown art scene since Andy Warhol and his Superstars shook things up at the Factory. Downtown, a new group show at Broome Street Gallery, takes a look at the art produced over the past 40 years to highlight the differences between two generations of scrappy New York City artists. You'll see fantastic painting, screen prints, photography, and more by artists including Warhol, Christopher Wool, Christo and Jeanne-Claude, Andrew Poneros, Charles Lahti, Cristian Mejia, Johnny Rozsa, Kevin Baker, Lesny JN Felix, Marcos Chin, Maripol, Wonderpuss Octopus, Santiago Felipe, and Scooter LaForge.
Tuesdays-Saturdays, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Starts: April 18. Continues through April 30, 2013
