Dir. Fred Newmeyer (1922).
Harold Lloyd confirmed his skill as a first-rate physical comedian in this story co-written by the great Hal Roach in which he's teamed with his future wife, Mildred Davis. Harold plays a country doctor who attempts to rescue enforced invalid Mildred from the clutches of a parasitic physician, who is bilking her wealthy father. If not one of his greatest comedies, it's full of droll sight gags and deserves to be better known.
