All eyes are on the Thin White Duke in the Film Society of Lincoln Center's latest festival, “Watch That Man: David Bowie, Movie Star.” It kicks off with a midnight screening of Tony Scott’s The Hunger and runs through next Thursday’s Baal, a 1982 BBC Brecht adaptation with Bowie as the dissolute poet. Also on display are his Warhol turn in Basquiat, his British POW in Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence, and his electrifying Tesla in The Prestige. Families can chilly down with the Goblin King in Labyrinth on Saturday afternoon; a retrospective of his music videos screens next Thursday.
