Working simultaneously as crack session players, a go-to support act (for Matisyahu and others), and as their own ferociously expressive act, Brooklyn's Dub Trio has figured out their own way of hybridism in the 21st century. After the acclaim of 2008's Another Sound Is Dying, new material has been surfacing lately in the form of EPs. The format's brevity doesn't make the trio's metal-shop echo and clang any less formidable. With Heldin.
