Ducktails+Wild Nothing+Velvet Davenport
Ducktails solo artist Matt Mondanile (also of Real Estate, Predator Vision, Parasails) might be leading the way, if you consider his gooey-sounding childhood nostalgia recorded to tape (an aesthetic one could deem chillwave if one were so inclined) part of the Brooklyn music vanguard. With Velvet Davenport, Woodsman.
