Always loved the sword fights in The Adventures of Robin Hood and The Mask of Zorro? Heard about how fencing improves your flexibility, posture, and overall well-being? Holiday parties got you feeling like you need a good workout? Elemental Fencing's Sunday-morning classes offer a free demonstration of the "art of the small sword." If you sign on, you will learn the basic stance, footwork, frontal parries, and primary attacks in the 10-class session, which qualifies you as a squire. You can also move on to master classes and competition level. At the very least, they promise you will enjoy the passion and energy of learning the higher forms of the art. Fencing equipment is provided, so you need bring only warm-up pants and a T-shirt. Basic classes are designed for ages nine to adult.
