Dan Balis and Eugene Cho first used the name Escort for their disco productions, which sampled live instrumentalists. When they were invited to play PS1's Warm Up, they had to gather those musicians and singer Adeline Michele for a personal appearance, forming the 17-piece disco orchestra. Lauded for years as one of the city's best dance bands, Escort makes a rare appearance tonight to celebrate their long-anticipated debut album. With DJ sets from Darshan Jesrani (Metro Area), DJ Druzz (the Rapture), and Prince Language (No Comprendo and Negroclash).
