When drummer Greg Fox, Williamsburg's John Henry, joined Liturgy, he replaced frontman Hunter Hunt-Hendrix's drum machine and, hitting faster and tighter while pushing tracks like "Generation" to places otherwise inconceivable, immediately began to play circles around it. These days, Fox is off on his own, splitting time among his solo project, GDFX, occasional stints with groups like Man Forever, and playing with Alex Drewchin Jr. and Turner Williams Jr. in Guardian Alien. Tonight, expect the trio to find a groove, a chord, or a rhythm and lose themselves in it, not returning to Earth for 45 blissed-out minutes. With Amen Dunes.
