(Morten Tyldum, 2008). The fourth in the series of popular Norwegian private eye yarns is the first directed by Tyldum and from the suspense point of view, the best one so far. A string of murders is committed in Bergen, all with young women dead by hanging, but detective Varg Veum finds himself in the middle of an emotional situation where he must sort out his own involvement before he can solve the crimes. Entertaining and beautifully acted, with Trond Espen Seim doing his usual great job in the main role.
