At this book-release party, hear from Angela Davis (via video)who describes Abu-Jamal as one of the most important public intellectuals of our time in the books forewordas well as former death-row prisoner Harold Wilson and Paul Wright (Prison Legal News), among others. Youll also likely learn more about the latest news on the case of Abu-Jamal, whos been in prison for nearly 30 years for murdering a police officer, and whose appeal for a new trial was rejected by the United States Supreme Court earlier this month.
