Last summer, when beloved street artist Swoon's spectacular sculptures came floating down the Hudson, it was sort of like entering a Mark Twain novel co-written by Dali. In other words, it was pretty amazing. If you want to see it again, you'll have to go to Europe, where Swoon and friends are navigating the Adriatic Sea, from Slovenia to Italy, in order to crash the Venice Biennale. But first help the gang raise funds for the voyage at tonight's Benefit Silent Auction for Swimming Cities of Serenissima, where you can bid on works by Swoon, Monica Canilao, and Michelle Handelman, among others. After all, you wouldn't want them to get scurvy, would you?
