She put her name on the top lyricists map when writing with Tommy Wolf for the 1959 trend-setting revue, “The Nervous Set,” and more recently, the playful wordsmith was setting her thoughts on music supplied by Simon Wallace. Tonight, the high-toned celebrants are Bob Dorough, Mary Foster Conklin, Giacomo Gates, Boots Maleson, David Silliman, and series producer Ronny Whyte, so make sure one or more of them get around to “The Ballad of the Sad Young Men” and “Spring Can Really Hang You Up the Most.”
