Youre hot, youre sweaty, and you smell like soggy frites? Well, so does everyone else. Stop complaining and bask in the heat at P.S. 1s Warm Up. These weekly outdoor dance parties feature live musical acts from around the world; todays installment is presented by French clothing designer and indie film producer agnès b., but the Frenchiest thing about the lineup is the name of Brooklyn-based indie band, Au Revoir Simone (its a line from Pee-Wees Big Adventure). Also appearing are UK club king Danton Eeprom and Dorit Chrysler, an Austrian-born thereminist who describes her music as electronic neo-psychedelia. In between sets, cool down with the help of the interactive art installation P.F.1 (short for Public Farm 1), which features swings, fans, sound effects, and a refreshing pool to splash your friends in.
