Do you ever have those dreams in which youre giving a speech and suddenly you realize you have no clothes on? Exposing too much of yourself can be scary, but thats exactly what the provocative art collective Openings aims to do in their new group show Naked Measures. We dont mean to say there will be tons of nudityrather, this show is all about uncovering the elusive mystery of spirit, body, and soul through personal works of photography, painting, drawing, sculpture, and mixed media. Artists baring their souls at the beautiful old Church of St. Paul the Apostle include Tom Bovo, Lori Merhige, Lauren Gohara, Joey Kilrain, and the Voices own Araceli Cruz. Opening part September 30, from 7 to 9.
Thu., Sept. 30, 7 p.m.; Mondays-Fridays, 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m.; Saturdays, 8:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m.; Sundays, 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Starts: Sept. 30. Continues through Oct. 29, 2010
