It's been over two decades, but Ghost is still in the machine, likely replanting the guts so that weird green sprouts might one day shoot from its circuit boards. With vocalist, instrumentalist, and instrument maker Masaki Batoh forever at its helm, the Japanese collective has explored the outer reaches of psych-folk, the inner pathways of improvisation, and the hairpin turns where real earth meets open expanses of sky. Free your mind, and all of that. You might even know them from their ongoing partnership with ex-Galaxie 500'ers Damon & Naomi. This is Ghost's first US tour in a minute; in support are Magik Markers, who've recently found a home on Drag City, Ghost's longtime US label. With Lights.
