GHOSTS WILL BURN
This October, Brooklyn indie mainstays Parts & Labor announced that after 10 years, five albums, and four drummers, they’d soon be going on an “extended hiatus” that would keep them off the stage and out of the studio for the foreseeable future. Still, the news wasn’t all bad: The band also gave away a fitting farewell Mp3, Receivers outtake “No Nostalgia,” and announced a run of shows that culminate tonight with a going-away party that brings some of the borough’s finest (for starters, Oneida, Noveller, and Patrick Stickles) to—where else?—285 Kent for a night of rock and roll, cheap beer, and more nostalgia than anyone would care to take credit for.
